After Apple's success with its patents versus Samsung, it seems Samsung will be in trouble. Apple has asked the judge for avoiding Samsung to sell its phones in USA and its tablets.
In this war, Microsoft seems to be the beneficiary with its Surface tablet, and next generation of tablets from different manufacturers with WindowsRT.
In my personal opinion, I think W8/WRt is a good system (as good as W7 at least, except for his lacking of Start Menu), but at this very moment, if I had to buy a tablet I don't know which one I would take.
